Q: What is the difference between a
BLENDED CHAMFER and an ordinary one? A: BLENDED
CHAMFERS code is generated to turn accurate chamfers at any angle and
pre-empt the formation of burrs at the intersection of the planes. As
long as valid data is entered, the resultant code will ensure that
the tool maintains contact with the component at all
times, thus eliminating the opportunity for burrs to be formed. Back

stored, until overwritten, in the following directory (folder): C:\My

Q: Why have BESPOKE tapered threads? A: A
tapered thread is sometimes designated with a particular length on
an engineering drawing that does not correspond with a STANDARD
length. By using the BESPOKE option it is possible to generate the
code to allow for this anomaly. Back
